Project description
MAB010 is a house in the style of a modern barn, in which we have combined minimalist design with maximum functionality. The well-thought-out layout has allowed for the optimal number of rooms on one floor, which allows for comfortable use by several people – household members and guests. Depending on the chosen arrangement variant, approx. 160 m2 has 4 or 5 rooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms. The kitchen combined with the dining room and living room add spaciousness to the interior. Additionally, large windows influence the visual reception of the space. The glass facade adds elegance both in the interior and from the elevation. The glazing opens the house to nature – there is an exit to the terrace directly from the kitchen and dining area.
Comfort is also influenced by other rooms included in the project – utility rooms, laundry room and pantry. Thanks to this, it is easy to keep it tidy and adapt the space to the needs of even a family of several people. It also facilitates the division into day and night zones, the entrance to the house from the garage and a separate technical room for the heat pump (boiler room). The garage is an integral part of the building, which also translates into the convenience of use and energy-saving parameters.
The house with a building area of 198.50 m2 is designed for a medium-sized plot with a minimum area of 5 a. The building can be made with a gable roof in two versions: traditional, with an eaves with an angle of inclination of 35 degrees (possibility of modification +/- 5 degrees) or a roof without eaves with an angle of inclination of 30 degrees. In the eaves version, the height at the ridge is 7.26 m, without eaves – 6.25 m. The eaves-free version is a solution that provides full protection against rainwater, while at the same time emphasizing modernist design. In this version of the project, the gable walls protrude above the roof in the form of attics, which additionally gives a modern look.
